Made in Poland by BLUE STREAK.
Suits the following engine codes:
LY7 LE0 LFX LLT LWR LF1 LFW.
Must check physical match before fitting. Does not suit VZ or VE made before 08/2006. Still you must check for physical match!
Blue Streak Blue Streak delivers heavy-duty improvements not featured in the original, making it the perfect match for any technician who commands the very highest quality.
Features & Benefits:
- Engineered and tested to match or exceed OE for spark energy output, impedance, and durability
- Tested at extreme engine performance condition at 7200 RPM
- Advanced thermoplastic coil connector ensures proper connection and resists fractures caused by heat and thermal cycling
- High-temp boot prevents high-voltage leaks, while stainless-steel spring provides proper connection with spark plug
- High-impact housing material ensures superior bond to epoxy for longer life in all operating conditions
- Internal, neodymium permanent magnet core surrounded by grain-oriented, magnetic-laminated steel maximizes high-voltage output at all speeds
- Primary (22 gauge) and Secondary (44,5 gauge) copper wire ensure high-voltage availability for peak performance while reinforced bobbins prevent voltage flashover for extended service life
- Copper wires using higher insulation grade ensure heat resistance and prevent high voltage breakdown
- Optimum wire distribution developed by extensive testing ensures superior functional parameters and durability
- Isolator manufactured using high voltage-resistant thermoplastics to prevent premature coil failure
Tips from SMP Technicians
When one ignition coil fails (especially on a vehicle with higher mileage), you should replace all of the ignition coils with a new set. That’s because one worn out coil means the other coils have been subjected to the same extreme heat stress and wear. In the long run, the most cost-effective repair is to replace the full set of coils.
