Brian Tooley Racing BTR Hot Rod Camshaft

 

Fits 1999-2013 LS-Based 4.8L 5.3L 5.7L 6.0L Engines

 

Specs:  217/23x   .619"/.607"  114LSA, 3 Bolt Pattern

 

BTR's Hot Rod camshaft delivers an aggressive idle while maintaining good street manners. It makes slightly less torque down low than the Truck Norris, yet produces an additional 20+ HP at peak and is a great choice when swapping these engines into lighter car platforms, or for truck/SUV applications with a 2800+rpm stall converter. This camshaft is also a great choice for 5.7/6.0L cars when wanting to have good drivability with a factory torque converter. These newly designed BTR lobes were developed in house and tested on their Spintron and Engine Dyno to achieve the highest overall power curve while also maintaining strict valvetrain stability and durability standards.

Camshaft only: BTR Hot Rod Camshaft by itself

 

Spring Kit With Steel Retainers and Pushrods: BTR Hot Rod Cam plus BTR Platinum .660" Dual Spring kit with Steel Retainers, Valve Seals, and 7.400" Chromoly Pushrods, 5/16" x .080" wall

 

Spring Kit With Titanium Retainers and Pushrods: Includes the above, but with an upgrade from Steel to Titanium Retainers 

 

Please note:

  • DOD/AFM equipped engines will require a DOD/AFM delete
  • VVT engines will require a VVT delete kit.
  • If installing in an engine originally equipped with a 1-bolt camshaft, a 3 bolt conversion kit will be required
