Installation & Important Information
- Correct installation and engine oil condition are important for hydraulic lash adjuster operation.
- After installation, some initial ticking or noise may occur while the lifters fill with engine oil. We recommend following the manufacturer's correct installation and engine run-in procedures and using a suitable quality engine oil.
- If excessive lifter noise continues after installation and proper run-in, the engine's oil pressure and lubrication system should be checked. Low oil pressure, restricted oil flow or other worn engine components can contribute to hydraulic lifter noise.
