Pre-Catalytic Oxygen Sensors – Holden Alloytec LE0 V6

The pre-cat O2 sensor is positioned upstream of the catalytic converter. Its job is to monitor the oxygen level in the engine's exhaust gases and send this information to the ECU. The ECU uses the sensor signal to adjust fuel delivery and maintain the appropriate air-fuel ratio (AFR), helping the engine operate efficiently while controlling emissions.
