This is a removable thermostat type that comes complete with housing and seal.

Compatibility:
Designed for VE V8 models up to June 2009.
Fits VE water pumps that have the top radiator outlet positioned on the driver's side of the pulley (refer to the image).
Also compatible with VT-VZ models that utilize the updated water pump.
 
Important: This thermostat will NOT work with earlier pumps that have a separate 'O' ring. It is suitable for VT-VZ pump number 12681179.
