Manufactured from high-strength 42CrMo4 billet steel and hardened to HRC 58–62, these camshafts are designed to provide excellent durability under demanding operating conditions.

STAGE 1 – PERFORMANCE PROFILE
For customers looking to extract additional performance from their M156, the Stage 1 camshafts feature a more aggressive profile designed to increase engine airflow and power potential.
 
Depending on the vehicle's supporting modifications, tune and operating conditions, Stage 1 camshafts may provide an estimated 10–20 HP increase.
Actual results will vary between vehicles.
 
Stage 1 Specifications:
Lobe Separation Angle: 110°
Intake Duration: 222° @ 0.050"
Intake Lift: 0.468"
Exhaust Duration: 224° @ 0.050"
Exhaust Lift: 0.436"
 
Important: Stage 1 camshafts must be installed with new lifters.

CONSTRUCTION & DURABILITY
Each camshaft is produced from 42CrMo4 billet steel and heat-treated to achieve a hardness rating of HRC 58–62.
 
The billet construction provides a strong foundation for the camshaft while the hardened surface is designed to withstand the repeated loads and friction associated with high-performance engine operation.
 
INSTALLATION
Professional installation is recommended.
 
For Stage 1 applications, installation with new lifters is required. Depending on the vehicle's existing modifications and calibration, additional tuning may be recommended to maximise the benefits of the upgraded camshaft profile.
