VE Alloytec Stage 2 Tune with ORSSOM OTR Intake | Dyno Performance Upgrade
Sharandeep’s VE Alloytec V8 recently received a Stage 2 intake and dyno tune using the ORSSOM OTR intake , delivering improved airflow and performance gains. During the tuning session, the dyno graph appeared a bit wavy due to knock retard triggered on 91 octane fuel . Older motors, like the VE Alloytec, are particularly sensitive to detonation and pinging. For maximum safety and performance , we recommend using 98 octane fuel whenever possible. Roger's Holden V8 6.0L This ute came to us for a simple cam exchange, it already had a camshaft and Roger wanted something a bit lumpier and more mid range/top end. After pulling the motor we found that stock valve springs had been left in the heads, and the cam and cam bearings were heavily worn.
