This customer’s MK6 Golf R Stage 2 was experiencing bucking and transmission flaring between shifts . To fix it, we removed the AP* flash tune and custom tuned both the ECU and TCU on our dyno. Sharandeep’s VE Alloytec V8 recently received a Stage 2 intake and dyno tune using the ORSSOM OTR intake , delivering improved airflow and performance gains. During the tuning session, the dyno graph appeared a bit wavy due to knock retard triggered on 91 octane fuel . Older motors, like the VE Alloytec, are particularly sensitive to detonation and pinging. For maximum safety and performance , we recommend using 98 octane fuel whenever possible.
