In our latest build, we take a 2012 Audi A5 2.0 TFSI Quattro (EA888) and show how targeted performance upgrades combined with a custom dyno tune can completely transform the driving experience.

While this Audi looks stock on the outside, under the hood it’s been unleashed.

Performance Upgrades

We focused on three key upgrades to improve airflow, reduce back pressure, and lower intake temperatures:

✅ Integrated Engineering Performance Intake – Improves airflow for sharper throttle response and more efficient combustion.✅ High-Flow Downpipe – Reduces exhaust back pressure, helping the turbo spool faster and freeing up extra power.✅ Front Mount Intercooler – Cools intake charge more effectively, supporting higher boost levels and consistent performance.

Paired with a custom ECU tune, these upgrades allowed the engine to make the most of the improvements.

Dyno Results

After the upgrades and tuning, the Audi A5 saw significant gains on the dyno:

That’s an increase of 33.4 kW and 65 Nm of torque — delivering stronger acceleration, sharper throttle response, and a far more engaging drive.
