Davidās Audi SQ5 TDI recently rolled into the shop with one mission: fix a problematic emissions system and unlock hidden performance with a custom ECU and TCU calibration.
But it wasnāt all smooth sailing at the start. Despite our initial tuning passes, the gains just werenāt where we knew they could be. So, we dug deeperāadjusting injection timing and reworking the boost curves to find the sweet spot of power and efficiency.
And the results speak for themselves:

Before:Ā 670.9 Nm @ ~100 RPM
After:Ā 769.0 Nm @ ~100 RPM
Gain:Ā +98.1 Nm
Power
Before:Ā 193.6 kW @ ~138 RPM
After:Ā 222.6 kW @ ~136 RPM
Gain:Ā +29.0 kW
This SQ5 now delivers stronger acceleration, more midrange pull, and improved throttle responseāall while maintaining excellent fuel economy for daily driving.
