Ben’s GLA45 AMG Climbs from 200kW to 283kW: Here’s How We Did It

Ben’s 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLA45 AMG recently returned to the Revhigh workshop with a clear goal — to extract more power, safely and reliably. Earlier this year, the car was dyno’d at just over 200kW at all four wheels in stock form. This time around, it came fitted with our heat-shielded high-flow 200-cell downpipes, and we followed up with a custom dyno tune.
The result?
A staggering 283kW at all four wheels — a significant leap in performance that transforms the car’s driving experience.
What We Upgraded

Custom ECU TuningRather than relying on off-the-shelf software, we tailored the tune specifically to Ben’s GLA45 with its new hardware. The result is sharper throttle response, more usable torque, and consistent, safe power delivery.
