Liam made the trip all the way from Shepparton to Revhigh for a complete performance transformation, combining a high-flow exhaust system, downpipe upgrade, and VCM OTR intake, finished off with a custom dyno tune. The goal was simple: unlock more power, improve drivability, and make the most of the engine’s potential with a properly matched setup.

The vehicle was fitted with a Revhigh heat-shielded downpipe, designed to reduce exhaust backpressure while managing under-bonnet temperatures. This was paired with an XFORCE 2.5” catback exhaust, delivering improved flow and a deeper, more aggressive exhaust note without compromising daily usability. To support airflow on the intake side, we installed a VCM OTR intake, a proven upgrade for consistent air supply and throttle response.

Supporting mods included a purge solenoid upgrade, ensuring the engine operates correctly once airflow and tuning changes are introduced. With all hardware in place, the car was strapped to the dyno for a custom calibration, allowing us to safely optimise fueling, ignition, and torque delivery to suit the exact setup.
Final Dyno Results
• Power: 196.6 kW at the wheels• Torque: 392.7 Nm

The results speak for themselves — strong gains across the rev range, improved throttle response, and a smoother, more responsive driving experience. This setup delivers real-world performance improvements while maintaining reliability, making it a well-rounded package for both street and spirited driving.
If you’re considering a similar upgrade, this combo highlights just how effective matched hardware and proper tuning can be.
