Unlocking Power: Joe’s LS1 Camshaft Overhaul Journey

Joe purchased and installed our LS1 camshaft overhaul package, fitting it to his stock 1999 LS1. The only other modification on his car is a catback exhaust system.
Even without pushing it anywhere near its maximum potential—considering the stock intake and stock headers/cats—we managed to deliver a smooth, powerful drive that has plenty of “up and go.” This setup is perfect until Joe returns for further performance mods.
Performance Gains:
Stock: 178 rWKW
Cam Only + Tune: 226 rWKW
That’s a solid jump in power and torque, all while maintaining reliability and drivability on stock hardware.
