Sharandeep’s VE Alloytec V8 recently received a Stage 2 intake and dyno tune using the ORSSOM OTR intake , delivering improved airflow and performance gains. During the tuning session, the dyno graph appeared a bit wavy due to knock retard triggered on 91 octane fuel . Older motors, like the VE Alloytec, are particularly sensitive to detonation and pinging. For maximum safety and performance , we recommend using 98 octane fuel whenever possible. Roger's Holden V8 6.0L This ute came to us for a simple cam exchange, it already had a camshaft and Roger wanted something a bit lumpier and more mid range/top end. After pulling the motor we found that stock valve springs had been left in the heads, and the cam and cam bearings were heavily worn. Abdul brought in his 2019 Mercedes-AMG C43 for a performance tweak on the Bosch MED17.7 ECU . Although the vehicle already had a tune and downpipes installed , it felt a bit laggy.
