Renault Clio Dyno Tune: A Comeback Story with Massive Power Gains!

Every build has its story — and Jordan’s Renault Clio is no exception.
When he first rolled into the Revhigh workshop last year, the goal was simple: unlock more performance after fitting a new catted downpipe. But things didn’t go as planned. The supplier had forgotten to weld in the exhaust bung, throwing a wrench into what should’ve been a straightforward dyno tune. The results were limited — but Jordan wasn’t done yet.
Fast forward to today, and the Clio came back ready for redemption. This time, with a serious list of upgrades — performance intake, catback exhaust, blow-off valve, and other supporting mods — the little hatch was prepped for big results.
Our team set to work on the dyno, dialing in a custom tune to make every component work in perfect sync. The moment the numbers appeared on screen, we knew it was a winner.
📊 Dyno Results:
Before: 308.3 Nm / 142.4 kW
After: 381.5 Nm / 191.1 kW
That’s a huge leap in power and torque, translating into sharper throttle response, stronger midrange pull, and smoother delivery across the rev range. What was once a setback turned into a comeback — and now this Clio drives like it always should have.
