Holden VF LFX Dyno Tune – VCM Intake & Full 3-Inch Exhaust
Another Holden VF Commodore has been on the Revhigh dyno, with Will Van’s VF LFX 3.6L coming in for testing with a VCM intake and full 3-inch exhaust system.
While this particular combination didn’t produce quite as much power as we typically see from similar LFX setups, the car still delivered a strong result with plenty of usable power and torque.

🔧 The Setup
Will Van’s Holden VF LFX was fitted with:
VCM Intake
Full 3-inch Exhaust System
Dyno Tuning
The larger 3-inch exhaust provides plenty of flow, although every vehicle and combination responds differently depending on the overall setup, modifications and tune.
📊 Dyno Results
The VF LFX recorded:
194.1 wheel kW436.1 wheel Nm
That works out to approximately 260 wheel HP and 322 lb-ft of wheel torque.

The result shows the combination is still producing strong torque across the rev range, making for a responsive and enjoyable street-driven Commodore.
🏁 Every Car Is Different
Dyno results can vary between vehicles, even when they have similar modifications. Exhaust configuration, intake setup, engine condition, fuel, calibration and other factors can all influence the final numbers.
For Will Van’s VF LFX, the combination of the VCM intake, full 3-inch exhaust and custom dyno tuning delivered a solid result of 194.1 kW and 436.1 Nm at the wheels.
At Revhigh, we tune each vehicle based on its individual setup rather than simply chasing a number on the dyno.
