To unlock the ML63’s true potential, we started with upgraded downpipes and moved into a custom dyno tune tailored specifically for Andy’s setup.But we didn’t stop there. The transmission got a comprehensive tune as well — improving shift points, clutch pressures, and torque delivery.

On the dyno, power climbed to an impressive 400kW at all four wheels. However, after taking into account the car’s age and Andy’s concerns for long-term reliability, we refined the tune to a safer, more balanced 350kW.

That’s still a +200Nm torque gain, giving the ML63 an instant punch off the line and effortless midrange pull — all while keeping reliability front of mind.
